STUCO (Student Council) is Newcastle's Governing Student Body, made up of representatives from each class, that schedule and organize school events. STUCO is the link between the students and school administration. Mrs. Will is the advisor. |

FUTURE BUSINESS LEADERS of AMERICA is an education association of students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields. The Association has 14,750 chapters across the country and over 215,000 members at the high school level. Our chapter is led by Mrs. Chris French, a business teacher at Newcastle High School. |

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY is a national organization that recognizes student leaders. Students are selected for membership based on leadership, character, service, and academic achievement. Mrs. Josephson is the advisor. |

SPEECH is a team of Newcastle High School students who are interested in public speaking. They travel to competitions as far away as Powell to speak against other students from across the state. QUIZ BOWL is an activity that tests a student's mind and knowledge of all general information. Any student in grades 9-12 may compete as long as they meet the eligibility requirements set forth by the school board. Competitions consist of a series of rounds of questions that cover all categories. For more information, contact Mrs. Dowding. |

SCIENCE OLYMPIAD is a team of Newcastle High School students traveling to Casper College to prove their knowledge in almost any area of science. Events include Astronomy, Bottle Rockets, Cell Biology, Robot Ramble, Tower Building, and many many more. If you want an experience to remember, this is sure to be it. BAND is a class offered by Ms. Lawrence. However before joining the high school band, you will need to know how to play an instrument that is involved with this band. Band performs at many school events and involves marching, performing at home sports activities, homecoming and seasonal concerts. To join Band, talk to Mr. Gregory, the high school counselor. |

CHOIR is one of the many activities you can participate in while attending NHS. In choir, students sing a variety of music from old European composers to modern day composers. Concerts that the choir performs at are: Veteran's Day, Christmas, and a Spring concert. For more information about choir, contact Mrs. Ellis in the choir room. |
